Julio, Martha and Annie Paul came to the U.S. 10 years ago from Colombia. The Pauls decided to come to the U.S. to have a better chance at creating a safe, successful and happy life for their family. When Martha started experiencing perimenopausal symptoms, Julio started looking for homeopathic ways to relieve them. He discovered essential oils and aromatherapy to be the best treatment he could find for his wife. He began to incorporate his oils into soap recipies, combining the essential oils for aroma and vegetable oils for moisture.

During her junior year attending the University of Utah for a bachelor's degree in marketing, Annie created a website for the family business. The website won first place in a competition, awarding her the money they used to start their business.  Calantha Organics was born in 2010.

The soap Calantha Organics makes is all-natural and made 70 percent organic ingredients. They have four varieties, each of which is made with a different family of essential oils. The most popular are citrus and soliflore, which is flavors such as  rose, geranium and clary sage. They also sell the varieties of essential oils used to make the soap. Eventually the family would like to expand the business to include lotions, balms and gift sets. Their products are available for sale at their boutique in Park City and online.

While the company makes all their soaps by hand, they use Intermountain Print and Finishing, a print shop local to Murray, UT, to create their packaging.

Because the Paul's are immigrants to the U.S., they work hard to give back to their community and various charities. From a life skills class at Summit County Jail to charity donations to volunteer hours, the family works to pass the good things in their life on to others who are in need.
