History
Newly established in June of 2012, Local First Provo is a chapter of Local First Utah, working to promote and connect local, independent businesses in Utah County. Run by volunteers, we welcome donations but do not collect dues or membership fees. There is no cost to become a Local First Provo Business Partner, but we do invite you to support the local movement in any way you can. If you are a local business owner, join us by registering your business. Once your information has been verified, your business will be listed in our online directory, and you will be sent a welcome packet, complete with talking points to educate employees and customers as well as a door cling identifying you as a Local First Provo Partner.
Mission
By standing together we can make our voices heard and strengthen the Buy Local message. Whether you are a local business owner, or a shopper who values independent businesses for their unique character, we encourage you to join the movement! Our mission is to support the success of local businesses by educating the public regarding the many benefits that local businesses provide for our communities.
